Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine

For a general introduction to and attribution listing of prose articles in Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine see the  Wellesley Index,  Volume I, pages 7-209.

The following includes additions and corrections to that listing of prose articles, as well as a full listing of verse published from 1824 to 1854. Many attributions of verse in Blackwood's  come from an unpublished (and only partial) file by Eileen M. Curran. Among her sources were A.L. Strout, A Bibliography of Articles in Blackwood's Magazine, 1817-1825, (1959) with an appendix extending beyond 1825, herein referenced as "Strout," and the Blackwood's Contributions Book maintained in the National Library of Scotland. Other verse attributions were newly generated in December 2016 and in the fall of 2017.
