Literary Souvenir / Cabinet of Modern Art

This periodical was published in the fall of each year from 1824 through 1836 [with title page year numbers respectively running from 1825 through 1837] under the editorship of Alaric A. Watts. Initially this annual was entitled The Literary Souvenir, or Cabinet of Poetry and Romance. Late in the run the title became The Cabinet of Modern Art and Literary Souvenir. Publishers changed from Hurst, Robinson & Co.; to Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown & Green; and finally to Whittaker and Co.
