    Professor Demoor suggested that the Miss Bradley who wrote for the Athenaeum might be Emily Tennyson Bradley, but this is unlikely as Emily Tennyson Bradley married in 1896, and in 1901 this reviewer was still called "Miss Bradley" on a seating chart for the retirement dinner for Athenaeum editor Norman MacColl.
