Architect and writer; principle member of Blue Friars society in Plymouth; wrote Remarks on Theatres (1832), Sketches of a Practising Architect (1837), and other works; wrote for Bentley's Miscellany; sometimes used the pseudonym H. Vernon or Henry Vernon. See Boase III: 1339, ODNB.
